Exactly... And even then be prepared to throw one away. The 'client' may have an idea of what they want (or of what they 'think' a computer can do) but the proof is in the pudding, and whe they start playing things change.
From my POV here at the DoR, I consider the staff I wrote software for as my 'bosses'. When they are happy I am happy.
