This question is for those of you who have seen a VFP7 beta and can talk (I believe there was a version distributed without NDA at one of the DevCons).

Will database events make it possible that a query made to a table contained in the DBC be redirected, on the fly, to a table/view in a remote database?

If so, I also wonder if we will be able to trick VFP into firing the DBC triggers for the contained table even though we are in fact using a remote table/view.

The reason for these questions is that if all this were possible, then the DBC could be made to behave like a wonderful business object. No?
