Great debating post... but I think you've come in a bit late and missed the context.

"Demo's to people down the hall" is interesting, but hardly an argument against quotes like

>>"Do we still sell that product? We have been trying to kill that off for years." <<

which is what I responded to. Unless the demo's you describe target the above, then your argument and the attached homily is off the point. Never mind, it certainly sounded great and pleased some people!

>>Please. Instead of bitching about MS marketing, why not put the same amount of energy (look at the time people have put into just this one thread?) into asking "What can _I_ do to help today?"<<

I certainly agree with that. If we agree that acting in isolation is hardly effective, what organised activity can I add my support to? Every effort I've seen to co-operate has been shot down as far as I can see. Can you give me a few pointers?

Regards

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
