Tables are not protected, which can be a bit of a drawback, but to be honest that is the only serious flaw.

There isn't really anything that's going to give you problems, there isn't anything I've come across that I couldn't get around, and because it is a powerful product there are solutions for everything.

Back to the tables though, you can encrypt them using third-party software, and also, from what I've heard, VFP runs exceptionally well on a SQL-Server DB.
