Title:
Log On Screen Does Not Appear
I have a work station when booted that does not present the network logon screen before the desktop screen appears. I have found if I click "LOG Off" from the START button I can log on successfully and use the network resources. Is anyone aware as to what causes this behavior? The workstation is a windows 98 Second Edition PC.
I found KB article on Microsoft web site that documented this behavior after software drivers were installed for a particular CD drive. However, the resoultion in the KB article does not apply to me since I do not have the CD drivers loaded mentioned in the article.
TIA
