I'm using local views for all my data-entry (eventually it will be client-server). Of course, when I make any changes to the base table, all the rules, etc. in the view disappear. I could either:

- Use GENDBC to put my view code into a .prg, then run the .prg after each base table change to recreate the view. The problem with this is that I'm also trying to use Stonefield Database Tools, and SDT doesn't like changes done outside it's domain.

- Get xCase, but it's expensive, and maybe overkill for the size of my system.

Any thoughts? Are there any other approaches? Has anyone used xCase?
