>Just need someone to help a very braindead guy.....I built a EXE file in VFP 5.0, placed it on a network drive, made sure I included the VFP500.dll file in the network directory where the EXE resides and it runs just fine on my machine (which of course does have VFP 5.0 loaded), however when I try running the EXE on other users machines that do not have VFP 5.0, I get the following error: VFP500.dll is invalid or damaged. My users and I are running WIN95 on a Novell 4 network. Has anyone else had this problem? If so , Please Help!

we built a set of installs that do nothing but install the vfp runtimes. they need to be installed on each client machine. we then can put our executables on network drives and update them whenever we need to. hopefully we won't have to update the runtimes anytime soon ( already had to do it for 5.0a ). our helpdesk knows exactly what to do if a user calls with the can find vfp runtime library or whatever the message was.
