Ricardo,

another idea would be to use temporary cursors instead of creating temporary tables. VFP cursors allow for long field names without the use of a DBC and they delete themselves when you close the cursor. You can create cursors and work with them just like tables. This will work as long as you do not need to persist the data after the table (cursor) is closed.
