>For a current project, a single dataset will be 'rated' using 4 different sets of criteria. It's likely that the result sets, ordered by 'highest rating' will have an individual member appearing at a different rating location in each of the 4 sets; #1 in one, #10 in another, at the bottom in the third, etc.

if you are expecting a high number of members, you could produce a
horizontal line for each member. display a 'stacked' histogram for
each line. if your criteria are equally weighted, choose an order
and display the rating in the same order for each line.... each
rating in a different color. (assuming your ratings are uniform,
like 1-10 or 1-100 or something like that). display each rating
in a different color. in the example below, substitute a colored
bar for the symbol. i'd align each rating criteria so you can see
at easy glance the relative values.

                                             total    member
^^^^^^^^ ##########******    &&&&&&&&&&&&&    37      Fred
^^^^^^^  ######### **********&&&&&&&&&&       36      Bill
^^^^^^^^^######    ****      &&&&&&&&&&&      30      Gary

if you were operating this display from a form, you could provide
buttons to select which rating the display should be sorted on.
ascending or descending.

just out of curiosity, how
do you combine your individual ratings to get a final score ?
in the past, i've weighted each rating factor and multiplied all
the rating factors.
