Thanks for the input! I probably won't post the actual framework as I am actually thinking of selling this game commercially since the quality of it is comparable to any side scrolling games today. It's just that I know it would be better if I could sell it to people that have mid range systems as opposed to just high end systems, which is why I am trying to speed it up. But what I would like to do before releasing it is create a demo version. Like maybe have just the first three levels that people can play and comment on. Once I do that, the UT will be the first place I would post that for download. If anyone else is writing a game app and is interested in what I have done, I certainly would be glad to share the techniques with them.
