There's probably something in the compiled code for those forms. Usually, when these things happened in the 2.x, one of these helped:

- add some code to the last thing which remains frozen (i.e. where it hangs), even if they are blank, or just apply the beautifier or move a few lines up and down (provided the code still works the same). Sufficient change should move things around in object code and stop producing the lockup.
- pack the project from the menu while
- manually pack the project - open it as a table, issue "blank all fields objcode, timestamp", close, rebuild.

I was never sure of which one really worked, but it almost always did. Only a couple of times I had to build the project from scratch.
