>Personally, I think a good funeral includes both tears and laughter. The eulogy should evoke memories of the person, including the good times.

Tamar;
As an Irish Catholic I have had my share of funerals and they are a difficult time for me. Some years ago my sister in laws Aunt was killed in a car accident. The Aunt was Jewish and we went to the funeral at the Jewish Cemetery near San Francisco. Why is it we are segregated even at this stage of our lives I do not know? The Rabbi who gave the service did the most remarkable thing. He said words that brought comfort to everyone in attendance. We knew we would miss this lady but I have never before or since been to a funeral that brought peace and closure.
