>Sometimes when errors occur or I need to do an update to a table, I need to get exclusive access to the .dbc file. I have about 25 users of my software and 6 are in defferent parts of the county. Can anyony give me advice on how to kick people out of my software after saving any open work they may have?

I think you can create a timer that checks for a certain condition (e.g., the existence of a file on disk). If the condition is fulfilled, the timer invokes function MyShutDown(). You probably already have a similar function; this function must do all cleanup.
