>I am doing a large inventory program that will require more than 3 screens of info. The user would like to move between the screens at will and be able to add/edit items from any screen. I have created a basic search/add form with all the key fields at the top (Manufacturer, Inventory Class, Part Number...) that allows the user to find a part using any of the key fields. It would be great if I could then just lay the other forms over top of the 1st form, with the key fields still visible, and have both active at the same time. Am I dreaming?

No John, you're not dreaming. One slight modification I would make to the design would be to make the Search/Add form a toolbar. That way you could change the key information in the toolbar, thereby changing the desired record and have all the active forms refresh themselves.

Another way to is to set the AlwaysOnTop property of the Search/Add form to .T. and make it so the dimensions don't cover everything. It would almost have the same effect as the toolbar approach but might be easier to implement.
