Thanks for the quick reply, but I found out that my old copy of Word 97 was corrupt. When I started it the "licensed to" was blank. Anyway, I reloaded Word 2000 and it fixed it all.

( I wonder if I can give myself some stars??? )

I guess anytime something works sometimes and doesn't at other times, it may not be the code.
