No, I am saying exactally what I said, that single letter aliases in a SELECT statement are perfectly leagal and cause no problem. As a matter of fact, as was pointed out, the FP and VFP samples show code written this way.

I am saying I have done it this way, it is aceptable, and it is not a problem.
