>can antone help me unzap a dbf file?
It's called RESTORE YOUR BACKUP. Once you've zapped a dbf, its contents are
long-gone. Recovering the contents of a zapped file is like trying to
undelete a file with no recycle bin entries, no deleted directory entries,
no delete sentry entries, no nothin'. The only way to recover that data is
with something like Norton Disk Doctor where you review the entire hard
drive sector-by-sector, try to identify your data and recover it to a file.
Then you hope you can piece it together right. Restoring a backup and
re-entering what you lost is 1000 times easier.
