I may be wrong, but I think some software companies should make their products more thorough. It's only a short list of similar problems:
"FIX: Transform on String Greater Than 255 Crashes VFP 6.0"
"INFO: Create an SQL Command with > 255 Characters"
"FIX: Error Using Object Property > 255 Characters As Parameter"
"FIX: _VFP.Eval() Only Accepts Strings of 255 Characters or Less"
"FIX: C0000005 Fatal Error With TRANSFORM() on Long Strings"
VFP bug list can be compared in size only with .NET last changes listing (~9Mb).

>I may be wrong, but I think the new VFP OLEDB driver addresses this string length limitation problem. I don't think we can download it as yet, but if you have installed the VFP7.0 beta, it should be available to you.
