>We have a database on a NT Server that when I open a table in that database from my client PC it opens as readonly. I can't do a replace statement or browse and change data. When I do a CURSORGETPROP( ) with SourceType I get a 3 returned which means read-only. If I go to another PC on the network and login as myself, I can edit the table on the server. Why??? I'm assuming it's something with my PC or my installation of VFP or someother setting that I'm unaware of. I'm running NT 4. Another person on our network is also having this problem and they are running Windows2000. Everyone else has no problems.

Eugene,
Just to clear up a misconception, a value of 3 returned by CursorgetProp() for SourceType does not mean a read-only table. It means a table. The Read-Only in the Help file refers to the property itself. It means you can't change a table into a remote view.
As for the Read-Only nature of the table itself, how are you logging in to the server to access it? When you login under another machine, are you using the server account (Netware) or domain account (NT/2000) or are you using the local user under NT/2000 to log in?
