Sergio,
Not sure if this is applicable, but some tools only display Schemas with actual objects in them. This is true of SQL Navigator. To test, use SQL Plus to connect to Oracle using that user ID and creat a simple table. Then go to DBA Studio and refresh the list of Schemas. You should see it at that time.
