You really can't convert 2x .SCX files successfully to VFP .SCX files. Most anyone will tell you that the move from 2x to VFP is a rewrite and don't try it any other way. However, if your app is simple enough, you can migrate it. We have a simple time tracking app that we couldn't rewrite in time for Y2K. We managed to make it work in VFP. However, we gave up on the .SCX. We used the .SPR and tweaked it until we were able to make an acceptable display.

Mind you, this will only work on an app with simple display. If the user interface is in any way complex, it will take you far less time to do a complete rewrite of the user interface.
