Additionally, if you don't have more than one MCP on staff, you apply for the ISV program (Independent Software Vendor), then from there, have your app independently tested by VeriTest (
www.veritest.com) for about $800. This will allow you to mark it with the Windows 2000 compatibility logo. After one of your apps passes, you can then become a Microsoft Certified Partner. Which has benefits in itself.
