Really? I didn't know that. I use NewObject as a function and NewObject as a method all the time. Is it really slow? For createobject we have to have set classlib to myclasslib prior to using it. Newobject doesn't require it.

NewObject was introduced in base VFP6.0 version. NewObject function existed before,IMHO, but method was introduced.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
