>I have a form on which i have a grid control ( for a one to many relationship). When I try and add a record to more than one line in the grid control(to the child) I am unable to. I first have to save the current record and then add again. How can I change this?

How do I get rid of this, so that it will automatically accept that I am going to add to both tables. I am using the standard record navigation buttons I found in the Component gallery.

Stuart,
I was reading through. A grid can be used for data entry. Terence's reply will go far to help. A grid can also be used as a navigator. The grid could be read only. Editing could be done through TextBox-es. As row's are selected on the grid, textboxes would be populated with corresponding fields from the selected row (record). One advantage of the textbox is that it is only one node away from the parent container. A grid textbox is (lets see F.G.C.T) 3 nodes away from the parent container (a lot more dots:).
