I'm trying to print to an Epson TM-T88 receipt printer and attached cash drawer using VFP5.0A under NT4. I've got the update printer driver from Epson and it loads correctly and prints out the "Congratulations" message just fine.

I can't figure out how to talk to it from VFP.

In the command window I can SET PRINTER TO EPSON without error.

When I create a report, and try to print it to EPSON, I get the ERROR loading printer driver message. The report knows what printer the report is intended for.

I suspect it may have something to do with the settings for paper size, etc, But there don't seem to be settings that will match this printer.

Under Win '95 I've always used raw printing to send stuff to a receipt printer. I can't get raw printing to work under NT though. Does anyone know if raw printing should work? I'd be happy to learn my trechnique was off.

I'm trying these steps because Epson oPOS is taking an unacceptably long time to process commands. If I send an open drawer and a receipt, it takes 7-10 seconds before the receipt starts printing.

Any help/directions will be very much appreciated.
