>>Is anyone else having the same problem? All day today IIS's on SBS4.5, NT server's, SBS2000's have been randomly stopping. The default FTP, WEB sites, winsock's, etc have been stopping all day. Is this a virus? Is it just us? Please let me know if you are having the same problem. I just don’t know where to start.

FYI

The CodeRed worm affects systems running Microsoft Index Server 2.0 or the Windows 2000 Indexing service. The worms uses a known buffer overflow contained in IDQ.DLL. Information and a patch regarding this vulnerability can be found at:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS01-033.asp

Administrators are encouraged to apply this patch to prevent infection from this worm as well as other unauthorized access.
