I have an app that sends an email notification to a State agency. The users want to print a copy to a printer in the records dept. so that it can be filed in the consumers file. I am using an Outlook object 'printout' method. The docs say this is the only way to print an Outlook item and that it uses the 'default settings'. I am using WSH to change the default printer from printer A to printer B. That part works fine. However, the email prints to printer A even though the new default printer is now B. If I go to Outlook and open an item and print, it goes to printer B, the new default.

I have stepped through the code and the default is now truely B. I have set the default before creating the Outlook object, but still it prints to A. Does anyone have any ideas?
