If you're talking about doing this on a VFP form, it's not too hard, but what do you mean by "in Excel"??

In VFP you would use the KEYPRESS method for a combo box and re-populate the combo box list with values starting with the string the user has entered to that point. I haven't seen a "general purpose" class for this (anyone else?) but that's probably because the nature of the search would be specific to what you are doing - although I suppose you could develop a generic class that would have an array of all possible values passed to it but I don't much like that idea because the search space could potentially be very large.
