Best of luck - I have been through the "buy out" business. I found it is always best to have a "Plan B" (followed by the rest of the alphabet if necessary). That is why I went from electronic engineering to programming.

Just remember a few rules of software development.

1. There is more than one way to accomplish a task.
2. Use the best tool for the job.
3. Learn as many approaches to solve a problem as you possibly can.
4. Do not be afraid to ask questions and try different solutions.
5. Read and use your computer to try new things.
