>Hi,
> I am using VFP to develop my application. I found that, VFP generate alot of temp file in windows\temp directory while executing. It up to 1GB space. I don't know how long it take to be 1GB. But, most of the file size is about 2MB. Why VFP generate such alot of temp file but not delete it after used??

Visual FoxPro cleans up its temp files automatically. As stated in other replies, if your application crashes, the temp files stay there (e.g., in c:\windows\temp). Since this happens every now and then, you have to periodically clean this up. Delete any files which are not from today.

Once I created a batch file to erase all files in c:\windows\temp automatically on startup. The result was catastrophical, since this is the default location of Word autosave files! It took me a long time to figure out what was wrong.
