I just tried installing July 2001 and I'm having the same problem now. Opening the library directly with the MSDN icon is fine, but from VFP 6.0, no go. I've removed the Apr 2001 and tried to completely uninstall and reinstall the July 2001 as well. Note that I do a custom install with only the VFP docs & samples. Never had a problem before...

I did find something interesting though (I would ask others to try this as well): When you have the library open, and you select the Active Subset to be Visual FoxPro, notice that almost nothing in the index is enabled. If you have Entire Collection selected, no problems.

I have a feeling (and forgive me if someone already mentioned this) that all the Context ID's now are linked to VFP 7.0. Which means Apr 2001 will also have to be installed to use with VFP 6.0. The help pages appear to be in a newer format, so I have a feeling that anyone with 7.0 beta installed may not have this problem... then again, I could be wrong <s>
