Title:
I KNOW I need a new desktop system, but...
I can't afford one right now. In the meantime, I wonder if anyone has any insight into this situation.
W95, hard drive is separated into 2 logical disks. After I'm working awhile, w/a number of apps open (Outlook Express, Palm Desktop, VFP, Word, Hackers, Excel, UT), it looks like there is only 75 MB free space left on my C: drive; 300 MB on D:
The size of files in C:\Windows\temp seems negligible.
Close all apps...not much change, after "Close all programs and log on as different user" no change. but after a full shut down and restart the computer, drive C: now has a whopping 153 MB. I'd LIKE to retrieve this space w/out re-booing....
Any ideas why this is happening, or what I can do about it?
TIA J
