In My practice:

I set the combobox properties as:

Mycombobox.rowsourcetype=3
Mycombobox.rowsource="select * from Mytable into cursor Mycursor"

As you release the form, the cursor will no longer exist.
Rather than use the field of the table as the rowsource!!
