Ok,I have been fiddeling arround with this active x control, and managed to reteive a doc or two off the web, inside a VFP app. Very slick stuff.

However, thats only half the solution to my current problem. I also would like to be able to transfer docs (pdf, tiff etc) to a web server, using http's post

For the past hour I have been looking on the MS kb site looking for sample on how this is done, but have not run across it yet.

Specific questions.
Does soemthing have to be set up on the web server to accept http posts? if so what. ? some GCI programming. ?

can sending files to a web server be done inside VFP using http, or do I have to use FTP to actually post files to server ?

are there any VFP samples anywhere that shows how to use this active x control inside VFP - all I have found is VB samples (inside the contol itself )

Thanks, and of couse any help would be appriciated.

Bob Lee
In the beginning, there was a command prompt, and all was well.
