For a list of those error messages go to:
http://hojohn.photo.net/ora81/DOC/server.815/a67785/tnsus.htm#1000527My guess is there is a problem with the client installation. But I am confused about what you mean by Stand Alone server versus the one used for development. Are these servers under the same NT domain? Are they NT servers? Are you sure you are specifying the correct server IP address and port when you configure the client?
>Hi Mark,
>It's ORACLE 8.0.5, not personal oracle. I have checked the listener.ora and found nothing wrong with it. We have 2 oracle server, one for production, one for development. I installed oracle in a BDC for the development server. I installed production server in a stand alone server. After changing IP adresses, I tried to connect to the development server by doing test with net easy config *ON THE SERVER ITSELF* with SUCCESS. But, I cannot connect to the server from other terminal. While in production server (stand alone), I can not connect to the server from the server or the terminal.
