I think the UK press certainly overplayed Englands prospects in the current series causing a lot of people to be suprised by whats happened.

I think our problem is that we are trying to play the Aussies at their own game, flinty eyed professionalism commitment to winning and 100% effort. We should go back to our strengths, being shambolic amatuerish and playings more important than winning. This really winds the Australian team up and they self destruct.

Many years ago I had the pleasure of seeing Lillee bowl at Lords. What a great player.
