How did you 'try to open"? Using Excel automation, or regular Excel?
What is the file name?

Other option is: send xls file to me (with the password to allow me open the file).

Dear All.
I had made a Report in Excel. Since i wanted to protect, i did the same.
I protected The file and saved. But Later when i tried to open it shows this error message. It was my four days work.
Since I do not have any backup.
