No, nothing like this.
I found a workaround, but this is quite nasty: When I set the grid's RECORDSOURCE property to the view, and then in code re-assign all the controlsources of the columns, then it works fine. It also works when I only set the correct RECORDSOURCE of the grid, but then the order and display of the fields is not like intended.

First I only had the column's controlsource properties set, but this doesn't work with two views open.
