One of my problems is that I can't do a Replace command in Access since I think it will only work in SQL. However, your replace command will only replace the doublequote with a single quote, right? I thought I had to pair up quotes so if I wanted a literal doublequote, I would have to use 2 doublequotes. What do you think?
