I am writing this in VB in a module in Access '97 so I suppose it is VBA? The whole thing is in Access '97 and driving me up a wall. I'm just trying to save a string like:

A dog is a man's "best" friend

into an Access '97 table using a SQL insert command in a code module. Thanks for looking into this for me!
