OLE container control can be instantiated only inside form.
If your ActiveX control can be created as COM object, try to define base class AS CUSTOM. In Init event create control and set control's properties in code.

>I didn't know ActiveX controls could be that picky about the host environment. You're probably right though. All of the docs and examples say to drop the control on a form.
