I boot up. CTL+ALT+DEL to logon. Enter my password. Then I wait for two minutes while Windows2K is "Applying personal settings."

I don't have a beast either, my computer is pretty zippy at 866MHz.

I wouldn't complain, but the difference in logon time from NT to 2K is so NOTICEABLE that I can't help but want to fix it.

Also, we tracked down the netlogon in the event viewer:

Attempt to update HOST Service Principal Names (SPNs) of the computer object in Active Directory failed. The updated values were 'HOST/charityg.kl.com' and 'HOST/CHARITYG'. The following error occurred:
Access is denied.

I'm a developer, not a network guru, so I really appreciate any advice. (My IS guy doesn't deem this issue important, as I'm the only user with 2K) :(

Thanks again,
Charity
