Ohhhhh....you mean by calling a program to handle errors (eg. ON ERROR DO FixFile WITH lcFileName) that I cannnot then change the error handler within that program and instead have to wait until I have exited that program. Too bad...I thought that settings like these could just be handled just like any other "settings" like SET TALK ON/OFF etc, set and reset them at will.

Thanks...I hammered my head on this for quite some time and did not find anything in any of the help files or books to not nest them.
