That's kind of what I thought. I don't know enough about him either way other than that he got the NFL gig. Rush Limbaugh was angling for the job but got beat out by Mr. Miller. I found it interesting that they (ABC) hired someone who apparently didn't know much about football but had a following in the comedy circuit as opposed to someone who was a strong football fan (I'm not) and had the ability to bring some of his 20,000,000 strong audience to the table. It was interesting to me to see as much of the decision-making process as was available. I think ABC made the decision based on fear, not necessarily what would have boosted the audience the most but that's speculation on my part - and why I was curious about the ratings differences...
