Hi Scott.
>Does anyone have experience using Inner Media's Active Delivery product for building installations with VFP? What are the pros/cons of the product?
We use it for the Stonefield Database Toolkit installation mechanism. The good thing about it is that it's pretty lightweight -- it's really just a wrapper for a ZIP file that displays a splash screen and can display dialogs for things like password and installation directory. The downside is that customization is pretty limited and some of the error messages (for example, for an incorrect password) aren't all that useful.
I think it works best in the case where you're not installing a whole lot (such as the VFP runtime or anything else that needs to be registered on the user's system), but just when you want a nicer UI than a ZIP file.
