I understand your concept. I'm saying that this modern software and hardware is so complex to hope that everything works perfectly isunrealistic in my mind.

But the point isn't to help the software industry, its to write software for teh automobile industry, in your case. Because of the flaw in VFP7, will Toyota be hurting, or will the software enable them to do something that was not imaginable before? You're taking something very complex, pointing out a minor flaw, and calling it a disgrace. I don't see it that way.
