>>I think that on two separate occasions within the past several days I've received the SirCam worm in my email. Don't really know for sure since my email provider embedded the two files as text in the email message. Both emails carried the exact same message asking me to look at the file attached. (I'll provided the exact text when I get home to-night).

Tom,

>Thank you for the "heads up" on this issue. Members of our flamenco guitar forum have also experienced this and reported it yesterday. One member opened an infected file and told us it took hours to rebuild his computer.

As one member of the GPOTW (Guitar Players of the World), albeit a different type (flamenco as opposed to classical), you're welcome.< bg >

>I am getting to the point of considering dedicating one computer to the Internet because of this type of thing. It will only get worse as time goes on. If I loose my development computer - think I will not continue this thought!

The thing that bothers me here, is that it's not uncommon for me to receive files from people asking me to have a look. Mostly, it's from folks I've known for a while. Sometimes, however, it's from out of the blue (that's how the Puzzle programming came into being). Usually, I'll merrily open up the files. However, in light of this, I think it's best to err on the side of caution.
George
