I agree. I never open attachments unless
1) I requested the file
or
2) I have confirmed with the author that they intended to send the file.
I've gotten 1 copy of the Sircam email sent to me. On the bright side, McAfee and other Virus scanning companys don't expect this worm/virus to become epidemic. Apparently this is thanks to the recent outbreaks which has caused email admins to tighten security.
Another bright side < s > is that Outlook XP removes attachments that it thinks are suspect.
