Beta testers are under NDA and are unable to publicly acknowledge that they are beta testers. If Mike had been a beta tester he would be bound by the agreement to not tell you, though he might wish he could.

Write to Randy Brown, Garrett or one of the other MS folk who wander through here. They will point you in the right direction in terms of becoming an active beta tester. I'd encourage you to do this.
