Look at PDAs that use the Palm OS [Palm, Handspring, etc]. If you do that, then you have Palm development software like Satellite Forms [http://www/pumatech.com] or CASLSoft [http://www.caslsoft.com]. I have developed a well performing Palm app with SatForms that integrates with my VFP app perfectly, so I have already justified the cost of SatForms. I will also be purchasing CASLSoft for evaluation purposes. I want to see if I can duplicate this app using their software. If it can, then it is a much better solution since it is $700 cheaper than SatForms.
FWIW, I am also giving a presentation on this very topic at WhilFest in October. See
